I am Piers and I am 10 years old. I live in New Zealand and I am learning how to use web tools
What a fabulous powerpoint Piers. I really like the special effects you used on your photos. You chose some awesome adjectives too - well done. From Mrs McGhie
Well done Piers! You are blessed to have a cool Mum that can show you how to blog! I thought your slideshow was great. You used some good adjectives (describing words) to tell us about yourself. Well done.Mr Lietze
WOW that is awesome, my class need to see your blog too! I love the words and pictures you have used together - brilliant!Miss Cheeseman
Piers I will use this blog in a lesson tomorrow on my classroom. I will put it up on the digital projector, teach it to the class and then get them to carry an activity out. After that gets done I will get some of the students to guess how old you are (which I don't think they'll do correctly) and then leave a comment here on your blog. If it would be okay we'll put a link from our blog onto your one, you may get some traffic from our class blog. Leave a comment if this is alright.Mr Webb and Room 8, Melville Intermediate, Hamilton, Waikato, New Zealand.
Are you sure you are only eight? Piers you have done a fantastic job! I found out about you on Mr Webb's blog and I will come back and have a look at your next posts. Great work!
You did an awesome job guy! I would love to show this to my 2nd grade classroom when we start adjectives. Do I have your permission?Mrs. AsbellGermantown TN
I thought the graphics and the adjectives were awesome. The powerpoint is succinct, vivid and descriptive :) Keep up the blog! Sue JonesUrbana, Illinois, United States

Hi I think you are really smart for an 8 year old you are smart because i haven't even made my own so cool i think it is easy to understand it is so cool.By EzyNZ
Today Piers we viewed your slide show in class. I asked the students to firstly - 1) Write down what an adjective was2) After watching the video write what they had learnt.3) They then had to guess how old you were. A few of the clever ones thought that it was you in the picture and so said "ten" some of the other students said older... When they found out that you are eight they couldn't believe it!I will get my students tomorrow to write to you explaining what they learnt and then leaving a comment.Mr Webb, Melville Intermediate School, Hamilton, Waikato, New Zealand
I think you have done a very good job on your blog so far. I have a question for you. How has writing on your blog helped you become a better student?Mr. CNoel Elementary SchoolNoel, MIssouri USA
This is a great learning task! I'm really keen to know the same question that Mr C above asks. Students in our 345J class have also been looking at using adjectives and nouns to describe the recent bushfires we have been having! It's amazing how effective writing can become. Check out our site and tell us what you think.
Hi Piers,I am sure you are "chuffed" on getting so many comments on your blog. You have such a big audience for being so new to blogging.I am guessing that you are also very "proud" of yourself now that you have people from overseas coming to read your blog.Well done,Mrs Gibb
